Q16 - COMMUNITY

What does the Christian life look like?

How do you get on with your wider family?

Bible Reading - Matthew 12:46,48-50

While Jesus was still speaking to the people, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside, asking to speak to him. But he replied to the man who told him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”

And stretching out his hand towards his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

What are the marks of a healthy family?

What might the idea of 'church = family' mean for Christians who:

- like to play sport on Sundays?

- have non-Christian families?

- are single?

- live busy lives?
