Roots is changing - watch this space.
We used to meet during the 6:30 service in the Church Lounge. Each session is a mixture of sport, games, activities and teaching. The focus of each Sunday evening is finding out what it means to live as a young Christian in today’s world. Roots finishes at 8:30pm. On the last Sunday of every month we take part in Lower Level, St. Matthew’s café-style church, which meets in the Lower Hall. Several members of Roots play in the band for Lower Level, and all of them enjoy the free drinks and cakes.
During the term there are also a few Roots ‘Clubnights’ and occasional trips out. These are purely social events for Roots members and their friends and are an opportunity to come and have fun in a safe environment.
